Mortify Thyself T-Shirt

Sin does not retire. It has to be put to death, daily. The Mortify Thyself shirt is a Christian t-shirt built on Colossians 3:5.

What does the Mortify Thyself shirt mean?

"Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." Colossians 3:5

The Christian life is one of mortification. We are called to deny our fleshly desires and pursue holiness. Paul's list is not exhaustive, but it is a good place to start. We are not meant to live in sin, shame and darkness. We are meant to put to death the wicked desires that live in us.

What is on the shirt?

A small red mark on the front chest. On the back, "Mortify Thyself" with a red heart.
