Simul Justus T-Shirt

Every Christian knows the fight: saved, and still sinning. The Simul Justus shirt is a Christian t-shirt with the Latin phrase that names it: simul justus et peccator.

What does the Simul Justus shirt mean?

"Simul justus" means "at the same time just." "Et peccator" means "and sinner." While we are born again and saved by God's grace, we are still sinners in need of continued grace. John writes that no one born of God makes a practice of sinning. He also writes, "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." Then he adds, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
